We strive to provide a rich experience with a wide range of patient population and visit types. We teach evidence-based practice and treat according to AAP guidelines. Our dedicated Providers offer their time and expertise to the upcoming healthcare workers through clinical Preceptorship.
Due to the fast pace and immersive environment, we ask that our students have at least 2 years of clinical experience and competent assessment skills. We also ask our students to bring their own stethoscope and laptop/tablets.
A case-by-case decision may be made if the Student feels strongly they want hours with Peds Care and want to apply for clinicals. We will never ask for compensation, monetary or otherwise. We believe that the integrity of Pediatrics is best upheld by willing Preceptors that provide a mutually beneficial learning environment and real-world application to Didactic courses.
